Do you want to hear directly from the authors about BK’s business, personal development, and current affairs books six months before they hit the market? Do you have a Facebook account? If you answered yes to both questions, then we can help.
Publishers Weekly reported on our signature BK Author Day event at Berrett-Koehler Publishers. Six months before every new book is published, the authors fly to our headquarters in Oakland, California to spend a whole day with our editorial, design/production, marketing, and business development teams. The highlight of the day is a lunch presentation by the authors.
Until recently, we only had room for the BK staff, the author, and several guests to attend the lunch presentations. Now we are offering Virtual BK Author Days, making them available to the world via live FaceTime video streaming. Here is a list of our upcoming events. This list is always being updated, so check back often. Please join us! We also provide ongoing tweets from our @BKpub handle. Go to hashtag #BKAuthorDays during the event to join the conversation.
The authors start presenting their books at noon and speak for 30 to 40 minutes, followed by Q&A until 1:00 pm. Please check into our BK Facebook page at 11:45 am Pacific on these days to watch these author presentations.
