Senate Committees Send Letter to VA Demanding an End to Retaliation Against Whistleblower Brandon Coleman

The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs (HSGAC) and the Senate Committee on the Judiciary have sent a joint letter to Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert A. McDonald requesting the VA "immediately cease its continued retaliation of whistleblower Brandon Coleman..." The letter further seeks documentation related to the Phoenix VA Health Care system’s investigations of whistleblower retaliation claims, as well as documentation regarding GAP client Coleman’s prolonged leave status in the wake of having made substantial whistleblower disclosures.
